Yahoo Search Results – Hello Japan

So I added SuperBlogTime to the Yahoo search engine the other day (scroll down for the story).  I thought I would see what comes up from Yahoo when I search for SuperBlogTime since it has been a few days.  Google already has the site indexed.  Check out what Yahoo has indexed.

Hello Google!

So the basic website is up and running, complete with my first advertisement (more on how I got that set up later).  I chose to go with a GoDaddy affiliate program for my first ad.  However, an ad does no good if no one has any idea that this little blog exists.  What to do?  What to do?  First we need to tell Google (and the other search engines) that this site exists.  I looked around earlier today and it seems to be very straight forward.  I looked up “add site to google” and was sent to http://www.google.com/addurl/.  Click on it and you’ll see just how easy it is.  Add your website URL and away you go.  I also did the same for Yahoo and Bing.

Yahoo:  http://siteexplorer.search.yahoo.com/submit (sign-on required – and wait “several weeks”)

Bing:  http://www.bing.com/webmaster/SubmitSitePage.aspx

Bing and Google were very simple and straight forward.  Yahoo not so much.  It wasn’t too terrible but what’s with the sign-on requirement?  Anyway, SuperBlogTime has been submitted to the top three search engines.

Bring on the traffic!
